Welcome to the Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand, the professional body for internal auditing
For many businesses across Aotearoa and globally, 2020 brought about a rapid adoption of digital tools and new ways of doing business in order to keep operating. Vodafone New Zealand found itself in the position of not only needing to make its own internal changes, but also guiding many of its business customers through the transformation.
Lindsay Zwart, Chief Enterprise Officer at Vodafone New Zealand, talks through the innovation the digital services company has implemented over the last year, the impact Covid has made on New Zealand's business landscape, as well as the opportunities and risks this new technological era brings.
Light refreshments will be served at approximately 12.45pm, followed by the IIA NZ session.
As the post-pandemic period begins to take shape in the coming months, organisations have an opportunity to reimagine opportunities for the future. Organisations (and their leaders) recognise that a foundation of resilience can make the difference between faltering or flourishing - during a disruption or in good times.
Parth will share recent insights from PwC's Global Crisis Management survey and key takeaways as we adapt to the 'new normal'.
Parth leads PwC's Technology Risk & Assurance capability. Parth brings experience in delivering, managing and leading Technology Risk, IT external audit, and Internal Audit projects globally. In recent months, he has worked with several NZ organisations to understand more about their resilience posture and provide an independent perspective on how existing practices can be strengthened.
For catering purposes, please register by Tuesday 25 May.
Please note if you are unwell, have had contact with someone who is unwell, or are awaiting the results of a COVID test, we ask that you do not attend in person.
