experiences, issues and challenges they face. The group meet four times a year. All are welcome.

Topic: Exploring the Role of Internal Auditors in Detecting and Investigating Corporate Fraud:
Key Learnings

Detecting and investigating corporate fraud, especially in the cyber domain, is essential to protect organisations from reputational damage, financial loss, and data breaches. Cyber risk professionals and internal auditors play vital roles in detecting and investigating such incidents.

In this SPIG we will explore the roles of cyber risk professionals and internal auditors, their collaboration, key learnings they can share, challenges they may face, best practices for collaboration, strategies for creating a culture of transparency and accountability, and emerging trends and technologies in the field of fraud detection and investigation.

Speaker: Tony Arnold, Partner - Cyber, Deloitte (Wellington)

Tony is a Partner within the Deloitte Cyber, Resilience and Privacy Practice. Tony has spent 14 years within the banking sector, including 4 years as the CISO for ANZ New Zealand. Tony brings extensive experience in a range of risk management disciplines (operational risk, compliance risk, information security, technology risk and business continuity) and strong operational experience from running the cyber security team at ANZ New Zealand, which included being accountable for preparing and responding to cyber security incidents.
