Summary:

In an era where organisations are confronted with shifting geopolitical dynamics, local pressures, and rapid technological change, trust is no longer optional, it is the cornerstone of resilience and credibility. This joint CA ANZ / IIA NZ webinar will examine how assurance professionals can protect and strengthen trust amidst heightened complexity and global uncertainty.

Drawing on practitioner insights, the session will explore strategies to embed trust into assurance frameworks, safeguard reputation, and enable ethical decision-making across diverse contexts from local business environments to the global stage

Objectives:

  • Identify key ethical challenges facing internal and external auditors and explore approaches for navigating these challenges while upholding public trust.
  • Examine how to balance professional independence with the increasing expectations of stakeholders in a rapidly changing audit and assurance landscape.
  • Understand the role of culture, leadership, and governance in sustaining quality, reinforcing credibility, and building long-term trust within organisations.

Housekeeping Notes for Attendees

  • Please keep your camera on where possible - it creates a more engaging environment.
  • Keep your microphone muted unless invited to speak, to reduce background noise.
