The IIA has a new webinar coming up: Topical Requirements: A Deep Dive on Application and Current Releases on 28 January 2026, ET.

Topical Requirements are a new addition to the International Professional Practices Framework to be used with the Global Internal Audit Standards. They are mandatory for application by all organisations, regardless of jurisdiction, size, sector, or industry (with application able to be adapted based on risk, engagement objectives, coverage by other assurance providers, and other factors).

In this session, you'll hear from Andrew Cook, Pamela J Stroebel Powers, and Dr Hassan NK Khayal on the development of the Organisational Behaviour and Third-party Relationships Topical Requirements, and how they support internal auditors to assess and evaluate:
