A three-part online workshop series: Lead Self • Lead Others • Lead Teams

This 2026 IIA NZ Development Series is built around the leadership capabilities we are embedding into our national training programme and mentorship framework. Delivered by renowned EQ strategist Dominic Siow, this online series dives into the transformative power of emotional intelligence in leadership.

All three sessions are interconnected and must be taken as a full series, on a quarterly basis. A certificate of completion will be issued to participants who attend all three workshops.

Workshop 1 - Lead Self

Topic: Top Leadership Essentials: Leading Self with Emotional Intelligence

Summary:

This foundational session focuses on self-awareness, mindset, and emotional mastery. Participants will explore how their thoughts, behaviours, and emotional responses shape their leadership. Key themes include purpose-driven leadership, personal accountability, and building trust through authenticity.

Focusing on team dynamics, this workshop explores how to cultivate psychological safety, influence without authority, and foster inclusive collaboration. Ideal for those in leadership, project, or assurance roles looking to create higher-performing, emotionally intelligent teams.
