AI is rapidly transforming the internal audit profession - reshaping how risks are identified, controls are tested, and insights are delivered to stakeholders. This webinar explores the evolving role of AI in auditing and how it can be used to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic impact.

Through practical examples, participants will see how internal audit functions are applying AI for data analysis, continuous auditing, and exception identification, and gain clarity on how to safely and effectively integrate AI into their own audit methodologies.

By attending, you will:

• Understand how to use GenAI in internal audit, from planning through to reporting.
• Learn how AI can reduce manual testing through real-world, practical examples.
• Describe key challenges and limitations with current large language models (LLMs) and how to navigate them responsibly.

Speaker:

Ashwathama Rajendran - Data Analytics Lead for Internal Audit at Stripe, with extensive experience using data-driven methods to enhance audit quality, efficiency and insight. He has led analytics programmes at Stripe, BlackRock and Barclays, including initiatives in data pipeline automation, exception analytics and visualisation. Ashwathama holds a Master's in Information Systems from New York University.

CPE:

One (1) NASBA CPE will be awarded by The IIA to participants on the live broadcast who are logged in for a minimum of 50 minutes and engage with at least three poll questions per hour of the event.
