ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Murray Towers is a leading expert and co-founder of Infolog, specialising in leveraging technology for investigative purposes. Infolog is a multi-service Information Hub within a single platform. Trusted by Government and Corporate New Zealand for decades Infolog provides clients with access to New Zealand's most comprehensive and user-friendly array of information sources.

Infolog is a New Zealand based Company that provides a comprehensive portal with access to various information and verification services, such as entity and asset searches, document verification, and global credit reports. It serves as a tool for investigators to gather data, conduct due diligence, perform background checks and monitor entities for AML/CFT compliance, offering a single platform with a full audit trail to support their investigative work.

Murray will share some practical examples of Infolog in practice from recent projects and with a particular emphasis on social media searches. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how social media platforms (and Infolog more generally) can be utilised in fraud examinations and investigative work.

Murray will look to specifically discuss:

1. Infolog and its uses/relevance

2. Techniques for conducting social media searches

3. Real world case studies drawing on insights from recent projects

4. Best practice and ethical considerations

This event starts from 4.30pm with networking and nibbles with the presentation to commence at 5pm. For online attendees, the presentation will run approximately between 5pm and 5.45pm.
