IIA NZ Events & COVID-19

IIA NZ Events & Courses and COVID-19

New Zealand’s COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights) ended 11:59pm, Monday 12 September 2022.

The Institute’s priority is the health and safety of members, those that present and contribute to events, event attendees, and staff that work at the host venues. To support this, the following measures are in place for all in-person events and courses:

  • Face masks are not required to be worn at courses and events, however if you want to wear a mask, you are welcome to, and masks will be available.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available, and we encourage good hygiene practices at all times.
  • Our venues spaces allow for good social distancing.
  • If you are a household contact or close contact, follow the requirements set out by the New Zealand Government.
  • If you are unwell, have any Covid-19 symptoms, or are awaiting a Covid-19 test result, please do not attend the course or event. Contact the IIA NZ office to discuss your options.
  • Any requirements imposed by venues are in addition to those stipulated above. These will be outlined with the course/event information.

You should not participate in any gatherings if you have COVID-19 symptoms or if you need to be in isolation for any reason. This is for the health and well-being of all guests, attendees, presenters, and staff.

For events or courses longer than one day, if you test positive, IIA NZ will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
