The majority of chief audit executives surveyed by AuditBoard indicate internal audit practices implemented during the pandemic are here to stay. The survey shows 68% of respondents expect internal auditors to work remotely at least part of the time, while 91% of respondents expect technology to play a bigger role during an internal audit.
