Welcome to the Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand, the professional body for internal auditing
A survey by an industry group shows 31% of companies do nothing in pursuit of net-zero carbon emissions, with the No. 1 reason being that public authorities require no such action. The Charted Institute of Internal Auditors has issued a guide that says internal audit "has a responsibility - and a great opportunity - to add true value to the work of organisations on climate risk" by advising on risk identification, management and mitigation as well as by assessing an organisation's effort toward a lower environmental impact.
