Internal and external auditors plan to continue and expand their use of the technology and skills they harnessed in remote audits, according to experts. In doing so, they should take precautions against abuse and fraud and guard against cyberthreats, especially in the wake of the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack, experts say.
