CaseWare IDEA surveyed over 3000 audit professionals world-wide to assess the extent of the pandemic's effect on the profession. The results are stated in their new report, State of Internal Audit 2021.
The data tells a story of adaptation and resilience, and paints a picture of the new realities the industry will collectively face. In addition to looking at the ways in which the pandemic affected internal audit around the world, they also look at how data analytics, fraud, AI and other priorities present new challenges and possibilities for the profession.
