IIA Global Certifications - Cancellations and Reschedule Fee Waiver Extended

Pearson Vue testing centres are beginning to open globally and with the availability of online testing allows for greater flexibility for candidates to take their exams. Therefore, until further notice The IIA has extended the fee waivers for:

  • exam reschedules
  • exam cancelation
  • program extensions

However, fees to extend exam authorisation or program window are no longer waived and can be purchased via CCMS.

Candidates whose programs will expire within the next 60 days must make an extension request by submitting a new case in the Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS). For expirations greater than 60 days, an extension may be purchased in CCMS for an additional fee. All cases will be reviewed and approved on an individual basis. For further information please click on this webpage.

Online Testing Technology and Equipment Compatibility

The following are important updates related to technology and equipment for online testing:

  • Candidates should use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to take their exam online as Internet Explorer is not supported.
  • Pearson VUE is aware of issues with Mac devices when attempting to take the test online. Until this issue is resolved, candidates are encouraged to use non-Mac devices to complete online testing. If that is not an option, they should consider taking at a test centre.
  • Candidates are required to meet all system requirements as listed in the FAQ section of the Pearson VUE online testing page and assume responsibility for meeting these technical requirements, including internet connectivity, prior to scheduling an exam.

Please visit www.theiia.org/OnlineTesting for the latest updates on online testing, system requirements, pricing, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
