Modern Slavery, Human and Labour Rights: How to mitigate risks and the role of the internal audit

Daniel has been assisting companies address business ethics and human & labour rights risks in supply chains since 2004. He has embedded systems and processes in place to meet the UK Modern Slavery legislation, and prepared production facilities for customer required 3rd party human and labour rights audits. At present Daniel works in the MBIE's Employer Systems and Assurance (ESA) team which was established with the purpose of encouraging and enabling organisations to take responsibility for lifting compliance with employment standards in their operations and supply chains.
