Auditing Organisation’s Strategy & Strategic Plans

Keith has spent most of his career in the financial services industry working for a number of different companies both in the UK and abroad. He has a broad range of business experience covering the roles of Internal Audit, Finance, IT, HR, Business Development and Risk Management.

He was with LloydsTSB (former owner of National Bank NZ now ANZ) for sixteen years, where he held several senior management positions and during this time was seconded to Milan, Italy for six years where he helped to set up, and was the Operations Director, of a joint venture bancassurance business.

He operated as a risk management consultant for a number of years before joining the Simplyhealth Group as main board Finance Director where he had responsibility for leading finance, strategy, investments, mergers and acquisitions and procurement. He left in 2009 and currently works as an independent consultant/trainer and has a small portfolio of director positions which include the chairmanship of a charity.

Keith joined the Institute of Internal Auditors in 1985 and has been actively involved in helping develop the profession, having being a past chairman of the South West district and a council member for three years from 2002 to 2005. A chartered accountant by training, Keith has a doctorate in operational risk management from Henley Management College and co-authored “People Risk Management” which was published on April 2015.
