Lifting ICT Assurance Capability – What we have learned and what’s next?

Claire has responsibility for the GCIO Assurance Services Panel for ICT-enabled projects and programmes. She has a diverse background having worked in external and internal audit as well as ICT consulting, risk management and project management. Claire worked in the private sector for a number of years before joining the Department of Internal Affairs in September 2014. She is a Chartered Accountant, CISA and PMP.
Chris Blackford has responsibility for leading maturity uplift in ICT Operations Assurance with a current focus on cloud risk and operations assurance planning. Over the last two years Chris has been involved in the GCIO Review of Publicly Accessible Systems and the ensuing capability lift in information security practices across government. C
Chris has 25 years of experience in the banking industry, covering IT and business operations, Enterprise PMO, risk management and business / IT relationship management.
