IIA NZ Committee Member - EOI
Expressions of Interest Now Open: Join an IIA NZ Committee 2026 - 2027
Are you passionate about advancing the internal audit profession in Aotearoa? The Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand (IIA NZ) is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from dedicated members who wish to contribute their time, skills, and energy by joining one of our active committees.
We are currently seeking members for the following committees:
- Advocacy Committee
- Education Committee
- Membership Committee (which may also include opportunities to serve as a regional IIA NZ Ambassador)
If you are interested in learning more about any of these roles, please contact Sally Dunbar, IIA NZ CEO, at ceo@iianz.org.nz. She will provide an overview of responsibilities, role descriptions, and relevant committee policy documentation. Please note: To be eligible, you must be a current financial member of IIA NZ. Committee appointments are for a one-year term, running from June to May. Committee meetings are held every 6 weeks (approx.), depending on the committee's schedule, and typically run for up to 1.5 hours.
Each committee typically includes up to two elected Board members. Activities are led by a Committee Chair, who are part of the IIA NZ Board.
Non-Board members are appointed through a EOI Committee recruitment process, ensuring transparency and fairness, and welcoming those who can demonstrate commitment, capacity, time, and enthusiasm to contribute.
To apply, please submit your Expression of Interest to the IIA NZ CEO by 5 pm on Sunday 17 May 2026 at ceo@iianz.org.nz. We will then respond with the Committee recruitment process overview for your consideration.
Help shape the future of IIA NZ, we look forward to hearing from you!
