The position:

We have an opportunity for two Change Assurance Principals to join our highly motivated Risk and Assurance team. This role will put your client and improvement-oriented capabilities to good use as you will be working in a team that has mandate to deliver purposeful and high impact assurance engagements for strategically important projects and initiatives.

You will help us in our role of providing confidence to stakeholders that do the following:

  • Programme and project risks are adequately identified and effectively mitigated
  • Changes to business process, including system-enabled activities, maintain effective internal control
  • Risk-based assurance plans are in place and executed at agreed milestones to enable effective stage gating and inform decision-making for business owners and governors.

You will have ample opportunity to establish and build enduring trusted advisor relationships with senior management and their assurance stakeholders through genuinely collaborative interactions and constructive assurance engagements. Your prior experience in risk consulting, internal control design, project assurance or change management will be in demand and highly valued.

About you:

We are looking for two talented individuals with proven skills and experience (ideally 5+ years post-graduate) in public sector, complex commercial organisations or professional services firms. Our ideal candidate will be proficient and experienced in:

  • Project management or independent quality assurance
  • Business process design or controls assurance
  • Organisation change management
  • Risk assurance or internal auditing.

You should also be:

  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Professionally qualified in a relevant discipline such as Prince2 Practitioner, PMP, CIA, CRMA, etc.
  • Personally effective with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
  • A great communicator with plain English writing skills.
  • Team oriented but self-driven.
