The Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand - National Board 2024

Background

The Rules of the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc (S7) and supporting By-Laws provide for the National Board to be elected at the Annual General Meeting. The elected member shall serve for a term of two years. A Board member may be elected for a second concurrent term of two years; after which they must resign from the Board.

Nominations are now called to fill the five (5) vacant positions on the Board.

Currently, two (2) Board members have completed their concurrent two-year term and, regrettably, must resign from the Board. This includes our Chair, YY Lee, and Education Chair, Grace Nunn.

Additionally, three (3) members; Tee Chow Lee, having completed a two-year term, is eligible for re-election for another two-year term, while Julie Tweedie and Rob Marshall, due to personal extraordinary reasons, are unable to continue their board tenure and have resigned from the IIA NZ board. Jocelyn Ooi and Ramon Manzano will remain for the second year of their first term.

The total number of vacancies on the Board will be five (5).
