EQC’s Audit team forms a small and efficient part of the Risk & Assurance team, and they provide independent assurance over the effectiveness of EQC’s risk management and internal controls. This role requires you to work proactively with the business while maintaining your independence and acting as an ambassador for internal audit throughout the business.

Your sound judgement and flexible, adaptable and pragmatic approach will stand you in good stead in your interactions with stakeholders across the business as you work with them to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and systems. In addition your research and analytical capability will allow you to cast a critical eye over issues and drive them to a speedy and successful resolution.

You will have:

  • A strong and demonstrable knowledge of internal audit frameworks
  • Experience in auditing techniques and an ability to use auditing tools and software
  • Experience in conducting internal audits, ideally including IT audits, across a range of business functions and industries
  • A relevant professional qualification
  • Proven commitment to your own ongoing development by keeping up with changes in internal control systems and modern business disciplines
