Privacy – What Emerging Auditors need to consider
Privacy has become increasingly more important and as emerging auditors we need to know what to consider when conducting an audit.
Deanne Myers, Associate Director at KMPG will present on what privacy is and what areas fall under the Privacy Act. She will also dive into what privacy concerns to consider when conducting an audit as well as how to conduct an audit on privacy itself.
‘Deanne is an experienced Advisory Associate Director with over 15 years’ experience of internal audit, risk management and business advisory services across the public and private sectors internationally. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals – Australia and New Zealand (iappANZ) and of the New Zealand sub-committee of the iappANZ. Deanne manages KPMG’s privacy service line, and is responsible for overall delivery, quality and development of KPMG’s privacy services.’
