Developments in the Sustainability and Climate Change Sector

Ferdinand will present on developments in the sustainability and climate change sectors since his last lunchtime presentation in early 2020.

A lot has happened in the sustainability/ ESG space in the meantime, and Ferdinand will cover:

• the dynamics involved in moving from the traditional linear economy to a more sustainable green economy;
• what implications there are in terms of the internal audit profession;
• sustainable professional demand and drivers for this growth in demand;
• skills sets required and specific training to address building critical sustainable economy skills sets;
• and dynamics in both voluntary and compliance carbon credit markets and certifications.

He will draw on his current experience in advising several sustainable transportation technology projects, including the certification and audit of their carbon emission reductions against international certification standards.
