Welcome to the Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand, the professional body for internal auditing
The building of a trusting work culture can be influenced by allowing everyone, especially the vulnerable, to safely raise concerns and speak up. The Honest Bunch (Integrity Line) and Transparency International invite you to our webinar, looking at good and bad practice from an integrity and trust perspective and how to meet the demands of our ever changing and social media savvy work audience. Kyle Welch: Kyle is an Assistant Professor at George Washington University in the USA and has recently produced a report on the Advantages of a Whistleblower Reporting System. He will speak on how "tip offs" support the building of integrity in any working culture. Hadyn Smith, CEO, Integrity Line: Hadyn will look at several case studies that may suggest that a functional complaints system, usually beginning with the informants' details, is not always user friendly for growing a level of informed knowledge on misconduct. Georgia Bates is Senior Associate in the Auckland employment team of MinterEllisonRuddWatts. She is a specialist employment and industrial relations lawyer. Georgia will examine case studies in the legal framework on what happens when employees are unable to speak up or pushed to enter into the personal grievance or Protected Disclosure space.Webinar: Speak Up Safely
