Robbie Green
I am a retail banker having spent 23 years working in, and in support of, the NBNZ Branch Network. This has meant a number of home moves over the years as I managed branches in Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua before settling in Wellington as the Network’s Business Manager. A key part of this role was in ensuring the benefits of change reflected the needs of customers and staff. Following this role I moved to internal audit in September 2005.
I am a keen footballer (perhaps you saw me on TV in the 1984 Swiss Maid League Grand Final?) although I spend more time watching than participating these days. Three dogs keep me pretty busy (all named after football players) and staying out of the way of the wife’s horses is no mean feat.
Every audit is a learning opportunity for the auditor and auditee.
Creating that “a-ha” moment with the business when they can see and understand what we have seen and understood with respect to their risks and controls.
If a spider was the size of a man it would run 100m in about 3 seconds.
