Membership
The Institue of Internal Auditors provides members with many opportunities to enhance their skills and keep up-to-date with current issues in the practice of internal audit in its many forms. It also provides members with professional recognition to both their clients and employer. By joining the IIA in New Zealand you become an affiliate of IIA Inc and are part of a worldwide network of more than 170,000 members across 165 countries.

Already a member of an IIA Affiliate?
If you are going to reside in New Zealand for longer than six months you may wish to transfer your existing membership - and maintain existing benefits, as well as being part of the network in your locality.
In brief, you are eligible to join if you are working in Internal Audit or a related area; have an interest in Internal Audit; are an Academic working in an Internal Audit or related discipline; are a Student studying in an Internal Audit or related discipline. There are educational requirements as well. Details are on the application forms.
