The Wellington IIANZ and ISACA lunchtime education sessions for 2012 are normally held jointly on the last Friday of each month.

Topic:  Place your bets.. what are the threats & attacks making news in 2012? 

Presenter: Andy Prow, founder and managing director of Aura InfoSec and Aura Redeye     

Andy will give a view on key items from 2011, and the recent activities including Kim Dotcom's case and Anonymous threats.
      

IIANZ 

Topic:  Achieving Assurance About Legislative Compliance – New Ways to Crack a Tough(er) Nut

Presenter: David Woodnorth, Managing Director ComplyWith NZ Ltd

In the past having some kind of thick ‘compliance manual’ and periodic ‘exception reporting’ seemed to count as a ‘legislative compliance monitoring and assurance system’. Why has the landscape in this area changed?
